Aquatic Microbiology Lab

We work with freshwater and marine aquatic bacteria that have the potential of being pathogenic for aquatic organisms and humans. We are interested in their taxonomy, ecology, and virulence. We use molecular biology tools to detect them in the environment, and to understand their physiology and mechanisms of pathogenesis.
